KB 2316 - CPU Distribution Error

ISSUE

User is trying to change the CPU mapping of a thread and gets the following error message.

Error ID 2316: Unable to change CPU mapping. As per the license only 6 CPUs are allowed.

 

SOLUTION

User is trying to choose a CPU which is not allowed as per the license limit. The licensed vCpus are specified at the top of the CPU distribution page. Please select a valid CPU and try the operation once again.
